What an incredible day we’ve had at our annual joint HAF Holiday club Sports Day! 🌟![]()

The children showed fantastic teamwork, determination and sportsmanship as they took part in a range of activities, from egg and spoon races and sack races to rugby, cricket, penalty shootouts and so much more! It was amazing to see everyone encouraging each other, trying their best and, most importantly, having fun. 💪🏃♀️⚽🥚![]()

A huge shout-out goes to our amazing 12+ HAF group, who played a big part in making the day such a success. They helped run the activity stations, worked alongside staff to prepare and hand out lunches, and even had their own race at the end of the day! We are so proud of the responsibility, teamwork and enthusiasm they showed throughout. 👏💛![]()

Every child received a medal to celebrate their efforts and achievements, reminding them that taking part, encouraging others and giving their best is what Sports Day is all about. 🥇✨![]()

To top off a fantastic day, we ended the journey home exactly how we started it—with smiles, laughter and everyone singing along to the World Cup songs on the coach! 🎶🚌⚽![]()

On 30th July, we gave away FREE tickets to some of our families, giving them the chance to enjoy a live Huddersfield Giants match together.![]()

Now, thanks to Huddersfield Giants, there’s another FREE opportunity for families to experience the excitement of a real rugby league game. The Giants take on the Catalans Dragons on Saturday 8th August at the Accu Stadium, and we hope as many families as possible are able to take advantage of this fantastic offer.![]()

At Chestnut Holiday Club, we love giving children and their families opportunities to enjoy new experiences outside of the setting. With Sports Week taking place this week and Sports Day tomorrow, this is a brilliant way to continue encouraging children to get involved in sport, support their local team, and create special family memories.![]()
