Kirklees Families Together is working with Amity to offer a free Close to Home Community Facilitator Training session on:📅 Tuesday 26th January 2027⏰ 9.30am – 4.30pm📍 Almondbury Family Hub and Library, HuddersfieldThe Close to Home programme is designed for people who live in, work in, and care about their communities. It is ideal for community organisations, voluntary groups, faith groups, youth organisations and family support services. The training opportunity is open to anyone within your organisation who is interested in supporting children, young people and families and would like to develop the skills and confidence to facilitate community conversations. It is particularly relevant for staff, volunteers, community champions and local leaders who are passionate about improving outcomes for children, young people and families.By becoming a Close to Home Facilitator, you will gain the skills, confidence and resources needed to deliver workshops and facilitate conversations within your community around family relationships, communication, conflict and children's wellbeing.
