Over the past few weeks, we’ve had the most wonderful time at our Deighton Carnival workshops, bringing parents and children together to get creative and prepare for the big celebration on Saturday 27th June! 🥳✨
Our sessions have been all about honouring our community, cultures and shared stories. Families explored the world map, added pins to show their roots, and discovered flags and countries from across the globe 🌍💛
The children especially enjoyed:
- Making their own flags 🎨
- Creating bright ribbon streamers 🎀
- Designing musical instruments full of carnival rhythm 🥁
It’s been inspiring to see families spending time together, sharing memories, being creative and building a strong sense of community spirit ahead of carnival day ❤️
We can’t wait to see all the amazing creations come to life on the big day! 🎉✨
